Aloha my name is Kat, I am originally from New Caledonia a small French island in the South Pacific. My husband and I moved to Maui in 2002 and we quickly fell in love with the island and the Hawaiian culture. We feel so grateful to be able to call Maui home and raise our children in such a unique place. After working in the tourism industry for the last 17 years on Maui, I decided to create a tour business targeting our francophone visitors.
Being bilingual, I am happy to take our English speaking visitors on my tours as well!
All my tours are Eco-cultural based, I am a nature lover and feel passionate about Hawaiian history, so let me guide you through the island while having a great time together!
My family and I often volunteer our time through local organizations to help protect Maui's beautiful natural resources. Beach clean ups, Ocean bottom clean ups, native tree planting and marine debris sorting are among our favorite.
Maui is the second largest island of the Hawaiian archipelago. The island was made up with 2 shield volcanoes "Puu Kukui" (5,788 feet) and "Haleakala" (10,023 feet). The two volcanoes were so close to one another that when they both erupted their lava flows overlapped, forming an isthmus between them to finally merge into a single island, MAUI. Voted "best island in the world" over the last 20 years by the "Conde Nast " traveler magazine , Maui is definitely "NO KAI OI" (the best). Nicknamed “The Valley Isle,” due to the great valley that lies between its two major volcanoes, Maui is known for its stunning natural beauty as well as its high-end luxury resorts and popular tourist attractions. Maui also has most of the micro climates found on Earth. In just a day you can drive from rain forest to dry land to black, white or yellow sandy beaches.

The "Kumulipo" is an ancient Hawaiian creation chant that explains how life began. The chant tells us that the "KO'A" (coral polyp) was the first organism created and that life in the sea and life on land are inexorably connected. On our SUP adventure tours, your guide introduces you to the history and coral formation of this specific area and also its marine life. You will learn about the importance of coral reefs, the challenges it faces today and how YOU can make a difference! All while having a great time on the water!
Did you know that up until 1848, Lahaina was mostly made out of wetlands? Those large ponds were formed by an abundant fresh water source coming down from Kaua'ula Valley through underground lava tubes to the sea, the epitome of wealth in old Hawai'i! But at that time, the rise of the sugar plantations began to divert the water from the Lahaina wetlands, rendering the site a stagnant swamp. By 191, it was completely filled in to prevent mosquito growth. Find out how that event impacted Lahaina culturally and ecologically and how our community is working together in hope to restore the health of its natural ressources.
Lahaina is a small town located on the West side of Maui. Famous for its "Front street" shopping, art galleries and ocean front restaurants, Lahaina is historically significant to the Kingdom of Hawai'i as it was the capital for 25 years in the 19th century. During this 2 hours walking tour our guide takes you on a journey back in time and tells you about the chiefs and Royals that used to reside on this sacred land since the 16th century.
Discover the "old" Lahaina and its sacred Hawaiian sites. Listen to stories and Hawaiian legends attached to this specific area of Maui. Learn about Lahaina rapid wave of changes from a peaceful Hawaiian Kingdom to a hectic melting pot in just a 100 years!
On our walk around town, your guide introduces you to Hawaiian native plants and tells you about their medicinal and healing properties. You will also learn how native plants played a vital role in all aspects of life related to ancient Hawaiian culture.
